For the love of blogs - episode 4
Greetings from CTS world and welcome everyone to the latest episode of my delightfully entertaining blog!!! Right down to business and “coming up in a packed show today “– can you tell I was a child of the seventies?? I am going to be talking about our new and exciting online shop, producing a video and our chosen course.
Firstly, let us talk shopping, yay my favourite subject!!! We now have our online shop up and running on the website and I must say it does look rather good. We have a selection of emergency shears to suit most hair/eye colours, all excellent quality and complete with a holder to keep your shears safe and to be able to clip onto your belt/belt loop. We also have emergency trauma bandages in assorted sizes including chest seals/dressings as well as tourniquets and we also sell full observation kits aimed at medics and first aiders. These items can be ordered online and paid via debit/credit card payment, and we deliver via Royal Mail second class signed. Pop along and look for yourself at what we have to offer. Sadly, despite me dropping the biggest and most subtle hints, he has not offered the options to purchase Radley handbags, Louboutin shoes or Lego!!! I shall continue conducting extensive research on these items with a little, scrub that, a lot of help from the company credit card. Does anyone know if I can claim tax back on four Radley handbags, two pairs of shoes and enough Lego to be able to open a Yorkshire version of Legoland?? Any accountants out there that could help with this dilemma, please feel free to contact me – thanks.
Last week we entered the world of film making – well maybe not quite in the realms of Steven Spielberg but it has turned out rather good. With the help of Lewis, the latest member of the CTS family, Harry and our resident manikin (Handy Andy) we have created something very special to help promote our Understanding ECG Part 1 course showing the course content and the chance to dissect a lamb’s heart, to gain a better understanding of how this amazing organ works. The course also teaches the individual how to take a manual blood pressure reading. It also covers placement of a 12 lead ECG on the chest and how to interpret the readings produced. Our next course is taking place on Saturday 15th June 2024 at our training room in Leeds. Anyone wanting to know more information or to book a place on this course, then please get in touch.
This week’s highlighted course is Autism Awareness which is very dear to all our hearts at CTS. Imagine living in a world where you see things differently to others but are unable to understand why – sound a scary place? Imagine people believing when things become overwhelming that you, as an autistic person, are just throwing a hissy fit for the sake of it – feel like no one understands? There are lots of people from many diverse backgrounds and different age groups who live with Autism everyday of their lives. It is a condition that is incurable but do me a favour, please empathise with an autistic person. All autistic people want is to be accepted in society for who they are. Everyone of us are “individuals” with different likes and dislikes, this world would be a very boring place if we were all the same. If only people took the time to understand that being different is actually ok, in fact it is a good thing. We are currently in the process of creating a course for a long-standing customer to cater for their statutory and mandatory training requirements, but we are hopeful we will be able to role out this course in the future to other individuals/organisations.
Right, I think I have babbled on long enough for now and anyway I need to get back to my shopping as I really need to decide on what colour handbag and shoes I need and no Shaun neither will be in CTS colours!!!
Adios amigos!
